Active Shooter Best Practices

To close our 2016 Emergency Notification webinar series, we examine a frightening scenario. Chris Hunsinger from PinnacleHealth System joins us as we analyze best practices for active shooter preparedness

The latest FBI study shows a combined 40 active shooter incidents in 2014 and 2015 - more than any two-year average in the last 16 years and nearly six times as many as in 2000 and 2001. The report also documents that, not including any of the shooters, 92 people were killed and another 139 wounded in 2014 and 2015.

It goes without saying that active shooter events are occurring at an alarming rate, putting us all on guard as we endeavor to protect our communities and workplaces.

To help us be as prepared as possible, on December 7 at 1 p.m. CST, we will examine best practices for active shooter preparedness and how your organization can put them into practice. Chris Hunsinger, Senior Telecommunications Technician at PinnacleHealth System in Harrisburg, PA. is our guest speaker and will share the processes his team has put in place to address the best practices and the critical role VESTA® Communicator plays.

We look forward to having you with us as we learn and share essential information and smarter ways to keep all our communities safe. There is something here for everyone.
